Services
Comptramatics offers four service categories as
part of the Legacy
eTrans-FormationTM
Service.
1. Basic source code transformation service.
We transform your Cobol source code to Java using
our LeTSSM software
system. We deliver to you the generated Java source
code along with a complete set of Java support classes
in source format. This service is billed on a per
line of source code transformed basis. Different
per line rates may apply to different classes of
source code (eg., online versus batch).
2. Transformation customization consulting
services. These are technical consulting
services relating to the design and development of
customized data base, presentation, and console
interfaces. These services can also be used for
customization of different aspects of the transformation
process. Transformation customization consulting
services are billed on an hourly basis.
3. Customized modules. These are precoded
modules that have been developed by Comptramatics
during the course of its transformation work. Often
one of these modules can be used as the starting
point for a more specific customization. There
is a one time fee for a customized module. The
user receives the module in Java source code format
and a perpetual license to use the module.
4. General consulting services. These
are more general consulting services relating to
pre-project design and planning, education, testing,
and implementation. General consulting services
are billed on an hourly basis.
Comptramatics offers these four categories of
services to satisfy differing client requirements:
- Comptramatics can provide all these service
categories to those clients who want to deal
with us as a single transformation vendor.
- Comptramatics can provide a combination of these
services to those clients who chose to use or
already have a primary vendor and wish
Comptramatics to work through that vendor.
- Comptramatics can also provide a combination of
these services to those clients wishing to do
part of the transformation in house.
- Comptramatics can provide any combination of
these services to consulting firms having
clients with legacy transformation requirements.
